As shown, the little pin holding the blade has a hook on it - if you're unaware of this, it can make it difficult to change blades, but once aware it's super easy.

This is a simple and highly effective feature to make it impossible for the blades to come off while mowing if an object gets stuck in the quick change system, opening it up.

SaMASZ developed this after getting feedback from people using their mowers in NZ, which shows their commitment to continuous improvement, and how they'll listen to feedback from New Zealand, which is not a large market for them.
